Linda Singer of Singer's Jewelers
was among the hundreds of people who were deeply affected
by the death of Liza Warner. She was determined to do something
so that Lisa's memory would not be forgotten.
Linda
had an idea to create a symbol of hope that would represent
Liza's voice to others whose lives are effected by domestic
violence. Recognizing the importance of reaching the
young people in the community, Singer decided to involve
them in a contest to design a pin.
